Dupe for KVD Lolita Eyeshadow/Blush: Notoriously Morbid

In my effort to put my little Notoriously Morbid stash to use, I pulled out a baggie with a sample of Good Little Girl Routine this morning.  I didn't know what I wanted to do with it but I'm drawn to reds, so I just started slapping it on my eyes.  That is when I saw it.

Pardon the half rolling eye.  This color!

I have never tried Kat Von D's Lolita Eyeshadow and Blush.  I have tried the lipstick and it pulls very orange on me.  I've seen the shadow pull very orange on some people and rosy on others.  I'm sure it would go orange on me just like the lipstick.  The main reason I made no effort to buy it is ingredients.  Kat Von D makeup is doing this annoying thing now where they don't post ingredients.  I have way too many allergies to feel like risking it.  It was limited edition and it's gone now but you can see pictures all over the internet.  Pictures and a review in this blog post.

When I saw Good Little Girl Routine on my eyes, I stopped caring about Lolita.  I have not tried Lolita on my eyes so I can't know that this is an exact dupe, but this is exactly how I wanted Lolita to be.  I am not allergic to Notoriously Morbid's formula, and this is the color I wanted!  And it's not limited edition!  Still available in everything from a sample baggie to a deluxe jar.

I just used Good Little Girl Routine all over the lid, and blended up past my nonexistent crease (hooded lid life).  Then blended a bit of a random black in the outer Vs.  Totally forgot to add a skin tone shadow to blend out edges but it wasn't necessary.  This shadow is a great color but it also has good pigmentation and blends out easily.

Good Little Girl Routine ingredients: Titanium Dioxide, Mica, Magnesium Stearate, Ultramarine, Magnesium Myristrate, Carmine, Iron Oxide.

Since Lolita is an eye shadow and blush, I decided to try Good Little Girl Routine on my cheeks as well.  This was a mistake.  I picked up way too much product and couldn't blend it off.  I mean, you can't blend blush completely off.  You can blend it out.  That wasn't going to cut it.  I wiped a lot off with a cotton pad.  I tried blending it out using the palest shade of gray from LunatiCK's first contour palette.  I wiped it off some more.  I went over it with powder foundation.  It looks less crazy now but that is a lot of crap on my face.

I'm having an allergic reaction to dust right now but also, I have eye bags when I make an expression.  I'm 42, you guys.  This is allowed.  It may not look like I'm smiling but I am smiling, dammit.

It's a lot of crap on my face but I am feeling this color!  Good Little Girl Routine is not lip safe.  No problem at all.  I knew which color from my hoard would go with it.  I paired it with Ofra Liquid Lipstick in Tuscany.  This was a good life choice.

If you didn't get your hands on Lolita before it sold out and you were feeling that rosy shade, it is worth trying at least a sample size. I already have the sample baggie and will definitely be purchasing a full sized jar when I run out.

Stuff on my face:

Photos taken with my crappy phone, under bad lighting, with a cheapo clip-on phone ring light that I don't fully know how to use.  No editing done other than cropping.
